As people multiply and spread so does sin and darkness. God’s judgment and wrath is displayed in a cataclysmic flood. His mercy is shown in preserving a remnant. While dramatic, the story is reset but not resolved. Rebellion continues and the question from chapter 3 remains: Who will be the one to crush the head of the serpent?
